Did you break your kite or wing? We'll fix it with Kitelab ! Did you destroy your wing or kite? We'll transform it with Kai Clothes !
Suelta La Barra offers you a unique guarantee when you purchase your new equipment, covering one repair of your kite or wing during the first year of ownership, regardless of the cause of the breakage. Whether it's the most common: a puncture, a rip in the fabric, or any other damage, we'll take care of repairing it at Kitelab. And if it can't be repaired, we'll transform it into a jacket, vest, windbreaker, or Kai Clothes accessory.
What does this warranty cover?
Punctures: Repair of any air leaks in floats or bladders.
Fabric tears: Replacement or repair of damaged fabric panels.
Seam Damage: Repair of unstitched or torn seams.
Other structural damage: Repair of any other damage that affects the functionality of the product, valves, hoses, pulleys or cables.
It cannot be repaired, we transform it into another product and it receives a second life.
What does this warranty not cover?
Normal wear and tear: The natural wear and tear of the product due to its use, with slight tears or simple micropores being known to not affect the product's functioning.
Intentional misuse: Damage caused by improper or abusive use of the product. We believe in the good faith of the community we have formed and would not understand any intentional misuse. Please take care of the product as you always have.
Loss or theft: The warranty does not cover loss or theft of the product, as it must be sent for repair and never replaced.
Finally, I reserve the right to cancel any breakage guarantee due to closure of my business, force majeure, or any adversity I encounter during the process.
How does it work?
Report damage: If your kite or wing is damaged, please contact us for acceptance and to begin the process.
Shipping: The carrier will collect the sealed and well-protected package, packed by you (inside their backpack and well covered by bags or cardboard). In some cases, we will provide you with a prepaid shipping label so you can send the product back to us.
Repair: Our trusted workshop, Kitelab, will take care of repairing your equipment.
Return: You will receive your repaired kite or wing at your home.
Important!
We want this guarantee to be easy to understand, so we've eliminated unnecessary legal jargon. This is an agreement between you and me.
We've emphasized puncture coverage, as we know it's the most common problem. These repairs are the least expensive and will be almost entirely covered within the insured margin.
We've simplified the process so you can request your warranty quickly and easily.

Additional considerations (we always put some small print at the end):
Repair cost: While the warranty covers most repairs, in some exceptional cases, repairs may exceed 10% of the cost of your product, or there may be an additional cost for special materials or extensive repairs. For example, if your product cost €1,000 and the repair is under €100, including shipping, Suelta La Barra will cover the cost of the repair.
If the amount exceeds 10%, the customer assumes the difference: For example, a €1,000 kite with a torn fabric and a €130 repair cost, Suelta La Barra assumes €100 and the customer must pay €30 for the repair before the repair.
Option not to repair due to extra cost: The customer decides whether we return the product unrepaired, in this case Suelta La Barra in collaboration with the Kai Clothes company and if the customer is satisfied, they can choose to receive a product manufactured with the discarded material, this will ensure that no kite or wing ends up in the trash, being an optimal state for the manufacture of any of the Kai Clothes products.
Repair time: Repair time may vary depending on the type of damage and parts availability. Kitelab specifies whether repairs will be made with original or equivalent materials.
