The Torremolinos Wingfoil Challenger QS 2023 is just around the corner and brings with it great innovations that consolidate it as a reference test in the world of wingfoil. This second edition, which will be held on June 3 and 4 on the beach of Costa Lago, will award six direct places for the Wingfoil World Championship and will host the Masters World Championship organized by the Global Wingsports Association (GWA). .
The event has the support of the Malaga Provincial Council, the Junta de Andalucía, the Torremolinos City Council and the Commonwealth of Municipalities of the Western Costa del Sol. In addition, the organization has prepared a great recreational and competition offer for all attendees.
The first three classified in the male and female categories of the Torremolinos Wingfoil Challenger QS 2023 will win the ticket for the GWA Wingfoil World Cup, which will attract the best specialists on the international scene. Among those confirmed is already the gold medalist at the London Olympics in 2012, Marina Alabau, as well as Nathan Berger and Fabian Muhmenthaler, two of the best riders of the moment.
Another important novelty of this edition is the World Masters, a competition open to all ages that will allow fans from all over Europe and the rest of the world to travel to Torremolinos to enjoy this sport.
But the event is not limited to competition, as the organization has prepared a wide range of leisure activities in the Costa Lago area. During all the days of the event, visitors will be able to enjoy the Weekend Wingfoil Expo, where different brands related to the sector will exhibit their products so that they can be tested by those interested in getting started in this sport. In addition, a 'wave' ramp will be installed for practicing surfskate where free classes will be given.
As if this were not enough, local fans will have their space in the Fun Race Amateur championship, a competition in which they can test their level against other competitors.
