First attempt at the triple loop! by @clementhuot
The attempt was unsuccessful when landing and Clement commented after the rescue: Nothing serious, just a pain in the chest with the blow and the harness went up very hard, I had bad luck...

Le Barcarès: a paradise for kitesurfing and venue of the Lords Of Tram GKA Big-Air Kite World Cup France 2023
If you like kitesurfing and are looking for a destination where you can enjoy this sport with constant wind and good conditions, we recommend that you visit Le Barcarès, a town located in the south of France, near the border with Spain.
Le Barcarès has several kitesurfing spots for all levels and tastes, but one of the most famous is the Parc des Dosses, located at the northern end of the Leucate pond, a salty lagoon separated from the Mediterranean Sea by a strip of sand.
The Parc des Dosses is an ideal spot for big air kitesurfing, since the wind usually blows from the northwest with great force and regularity, creating a flat water plane that is perfect for picking up speed and jumping. The wind is offshore, that is, it goes from land to water, so it is recommended to have a good level of navigation and use a rescue system in case of emergency.
The spot has a wide and shallow area where you can practice safely and comfortably, and it also has a kitesurfing school where you can take classes or rent equipment. The school is the UCPA du Barcarès, which offers a pedagogy adapted to each student and a professional and experienced team.
In addition to the Parc des Dosses, Le Barcarès has other interesting kitesurfing spots, such as the town beach, where you can sail with a southerly or easterly wind, or the Coudalère beach, where you can enjoy waves with a northerly or northeast.
Le Barcarès is not only a destination for kitesurfing, but also for other nautical activities such as windsurfing, wingfoiling or paddle surfing. In addition, it has a varied tourist offer, with comfortable accommodation, restaurants, bars, shops and nightlife.
An example of this is the Lords Of Tram GKA Big-Air Kite World Cup France 2023 event, which was held in Le Barcarès from April 15 to 22. It was an international big air kitesurfing competition that brought together the best riders in the world in an impressive show. The event also featured parallel activities such as concerts, exhibitions and workshops.
The winners of the event were Liam Whaley (Spain) in the men's category and Mikaili Sol (United States) in the women's. Both demonstrated a high technical level and a great ability to adapt to changing wind conditions. Whaley beat Andrea Principi (Italy), Jamie Overbeek (Netherlands) and Lorenzo Casati (Spain/Italy) in the final. Sol did the same against Angely Bouillot (France), Nathalie Lambrecht (Sweden) and Francesca Maini (United Kingdom).
The event was the first Big Air of the year for the Qatar Airways GKA Kite World Tour, the world circuit that will crown the world champions of this discipline. The next stop will be in Tarifa (Spain), from May 26 to June 16.
If you want to live a unique kitesurfing experience in a privileged place, do not hesitate and book your trip to Le Barcarès. We assure you that you will not regret it.
