On May 2, if the wind conditions are favourable, the FULL POWER TARIFA will begin, the most spectacular Big Air event of the year. It is a professional competition (Pro Division 1, Pro Division 2 and Women Division) that brings together the best riders in the world in the kitesurfing mecca: Tarifa.
The FULL POWER TARIFA is an international stop of the BAKL (Big Air Kite League). These competitions are held in different parts of the world and offer riders the opportunity to show their level and style.
Also included in the Qatar Airways GKA Big Air Kite World Championships Tarifa 2023 circuit, the Qatar Airways GKA Kite World Tour returns to Tarifa for another exciting big air event in 2023.
Big Air is a modality of kitesurfing that consists of making impressive jumps with the kite, reaching great heights and performing tricks in the air. It is a discipline that requires a lot of technique, power and courage, and that offers a unique visual spectacle.
The FULL POWER TARIFA will have the participation of some of the best riders in the world, such as Liam Whaley, Kevin Langeree, Jesse Richman, Mikaili Sol or Pippa van Iersel, among others. In addition, it is open to any rider who wants to be part of this third edition.
