The Argentine Kitesurfing Championship returns to Mendoza

Between Friday the 14th and Sunday the 16th of April, the Argentine Kitesurfing Championship will take place at the Potrerillos dam, Mendoza province, one of the most anticipated events for lovers of this extreme sport.

This is the second consecutive time that the first official date of the National Kitesurf Ranking has been disputed, thanks to the sponsorship of the Government of Mendoza, the Undersecretary of Sports and the Municipality of Luján de Cuyo, and the organization of the Mendocina Kite Association (AMK ).

The competition will bring together the best exponents in the Pro and Amateur categories, who will travel from different parts of the country such as San Juan, San Luis, Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Santa Fe, Santiago del Estero, Tucumán, La Pampa, Misiones, Corrientes and Neuquén. . In addition, this year competitors from Uruguay and Germany will join, which ensures a high level of competitiveness.

During the three days of competition, the participants will demonstrate their skill in handling the kite and the board, performing acrobatics and spectacular jumps in the water. The juries will evaluate the technique, difficulty and creativity of the maneuvers performed, and will award the corresponding scores.
