Kite Park League 2025: Mendoza vibró con los mejores riders del mundo.

Kite Park League 2025: Mendoza thrilled with the world's best riders.

The Nihuil surrendered to the Kite Park League.

Hello, kite fans. Get ready to be amazed by what happened in El Nihuil, Mendoza. The Kite Park League 2025 kicked off with a bang. After a 2023 that was in decline and full of doubts, an agreement was reached to include this discipline in the World Tour for 2024. Now they're walking alone, but with no news on their official website https://www.kiteparkleague.com/events. And when I tell you they've kicked off with a bang, I mean wind, crazy tricks, module setups like never before, and an atmosphere that's not even at the best festivals.

El Nihuil is a town and district located in the San Rafael department of the Mendoza province, Argentina. To put it in context, it's a hidden paradise in Argentina with a reservoir that provides the perfect location for the Kite Park League, and has become the world epicenter of kitesurfing. Twenty-two men and four women from countries such as Switzerland, Spain, Russia, the United States, and Mexico gathered to show who's the boss in this discipline that combines kitesurfing with freestyle in a water park full of modules to make tricks easier or more difficult.

Ramiro Gallart, runner-up in the event, told us that the party kicked off on Sunday with free sessions for the riders to warm up. On Wednesday, things really got going. All categories competed in epic rounds. I'll leave you with the images from the official Instagram @Kiteparkleague, but the results weren't forthcoming until Friday.

Noe Font, a rider who has participated and seen many spots, described El Nihuil as "a place straight out of a National Geographic movie." And no wonder: the sunsets and sessions were beautiful. Plus, the wind blew almost every day, making Nihuil a paradise for kitesurfers.

The gathering was top-notch, like a big family coming together to share their passion. From the parties to the setup, everyone worked together to make the event a success, and boy was it! We're already looking forward to the next stop.

Ramiro also reminded us that kitesurfing is for everyone. Age and physical condition don't matter; all you need is a desire to learn and good lessons with a certified instructor, of course, like the ones you'll find at KITESCHOOL MAPS .
