II Wing Foil ASailor Trophy 2023 Regatta in Arrecife, Lanzarote.

On April 1, a new appointment for kiters at the Real Club Náutico Arrecife

Next Saturday, April 1, the Wing Foil regatta of the II ASailor Trophy 2022 will take place, which could not be held last November due to the absence of wind and which will be held taking advantage of the Easter dates to catch up on issue of editions and plan the 2023 that will take place this coming summer.

The event is organized by the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife and by delegation of the Royal Canarian Sailing Federation, with the sponsorship of the brand "A-SAILOR" and with the institutional collaboration of the Arrecife City Council, the Sports Department of the Arrecife City Council , Department of Tourism Arrecife, the Government of the Canary Islands, the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Turismo Lanzarote, Sports of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, European Sports Destination, the Spanish Association of Nautical Clubs, the Canarian Association of Nautical Clubs. In addition, it has the support of Naviera Armas – Trasmediterránea, Calero Marinas, CICAR, Arrecife Gran Hotel, Renault – Juan Toledo SL.

The ASailor Trophy started in 2021 and was won by Vicente Sierra, who inscribed his name on the trophy. This particularity is one of the most striking for the participants, since the winner of the edition of this coming April 1 will also register their name as will happen with the winner of the summer of 2023.

Registration for this second edition is already open through the website of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife, and can be formalized until March 31.

The tests, which will all be held in the bay of Arrecife on April 1. They will begin at 3:00 p.m. after the riders' meeting on the club's esplanade. Six races are scheduled, with the worst score being able to be discarded once four regattas are completed.
