CHICLANA Andalusian Wingfoil Championship 2023

The Andalusian Wingfoil Championship has concluded successfully at La Barrosa beach, in Chiclana, despite the adverse weather conditions that forced the cancellation of the third and final day of the competition. Despite this, the results of the second day were enough to proclaim the new national and regional champions of the discipline.
Among the highlights of the event, the Andalusian Nía Suardiaz has been the great protagonist by proclaiming herself double champion of Andalusia in the Slalom and Freestyle categories, and also of the Spanish Cup in both disciplines. In Slalom, Suardiaz defeated the Catalan Montse Solé and the also Andalusian Isabel Triviño from CD Saltwater Wind Club Tarifa with authority, while in Freestyle she prevailed over Triviño and the Andalusian Regaliz Sollom.
On the other hand, in the men's category, Gunnar Marc Biniasch from the Canary Islands won the Spanish Cup, while the title of Andalusian Wingfoil champion in Slalom went to Lucas Roguet from CD Patanegra Surf&Aventura, and in Freestyle it went to Jerome Cloetens from CD Pastor Watersport Club, who also won the Spanish Cup.
In the Junior fleet, Manuel Morillo from Arrecife took the victory in Slalom and the Spanish Cup, while River Moore from CD KTS Tarifa Kite Club was the first Andalusian and, therefore, was proclaimed champion of Andalusia. In the Freestyle category, the Andalusian Nathan Berger from CD Adrenalin Kite Area took first place.
