From March 1st to 4th, a Kite Surf competition will be held on Dunamar beach. “There is a regatta scheduled, as well as trials that will be judged by a jury who will give scores to each competitor to then classify each of them and award the prizes; it is a competition that obviously needs winds, so we will have four days to have the best conditions to be able to do it,” said David Mariucci .

The Maragogi Sailing Festival, to be held on Burgalhau beach (Alagoas, Brazil) from November 20 to 23, 2025 , is an event that combines sporting competition in various sailing disciplines (kitesurfing, windsurfing, etc.) with a strong social and environmental commitment.
It brings together national and international athletes to compete for titles, while promoting solidarity, beach cleanups, and environmental awareness in the community. It's a movement that seeks unity through the sea and sport.
