Los campeones del Ibiza Wingfoil Open ya tienen nombre.

The Ibiza Wingfoil Open champions now have a name.

The Ibiza Wingfoil Open was a real blast. After a somewhat slow start, and a suspended first day due to Aeolus, the god of the wind, the riders proved on Saturday and Sunday that when they want to, they can do anything!
From the very beginning, the excitement was palpable. 68 riders were eager to demonstrate their skills in the Ibizan waters. Although the wind was playing hide-and-seek on the first day, the organizers from the Club Nàutic Sant Antoni and the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation didn't give up and tailored the competition to perfection, seeking the best conditions with the entire fleet moving. The effort the organizers put into these events is incredible.
After several days of intense competition, we finally have our champions. Congratulations to all the participants! And a special round of applause for:
Martín Tieles : The fastest Galician in the championship who shares a sponsor with @sueltalabarra and wears the @kohsunglasses WINGFOIL COLLECTION glasses
Leya Seguí : The queen of women's wingfoil.
Simón Codoñer : Runner-up and a promising Spanish wingfoil rider.

Jeremi Rodríguez Hernández , with 21 points, achieved third place in the Spanish Championship, fourth place in the overall standings, and first place in the senior category. An incredible result for this Canarian, who, after barely two years of wingfoiling, is already making his mark on the national scene.
Jeremi, from Gran Canaria, tells us: " I'm from Gran Canaria, I've been sailing for about two years and from the very beginning I decided to compete, since for the first time after 3 months of sailing I competed in a local championship and since then I have been constantly progressing. I would like to thank North España, North Internacional and the lpwindsurf shop who supported me from the beginning in my Wingfoil adventure ."
The rankings are packed with names that promise a lot for the future of wingfoil in Spain. We'll be keeping a close eye on their races!
The images speak for themselves: a stunning visual spectacle! Wingfoil boards gliding through the waves, riders executing mind-blowing maneuvers... truly amazing! Is there anything more exciting than watching these wingfoilers soar over the water?
We can't forget to thank everyone who made this event possible: the organizers, the sponsors, the volunteers... Thanks to you, the Ibiza Wingfoil Open was a resounding success!

The next OPEN championship in Spain is La Loteta Cierzo Festival in Zaragoza 19-20 October 2024 , a championship in which I am proud to participate, I invite you to come, of course bring the 2.5m wing because here the Cierzo when it enters can reach 35 knots just like that, and we hope to launch very simple RACE tests, for participants of all levels.
