Today we're shining the spotlight on a rider with an international career and a life philosophy that inspires us to enjoy every moment on the water: Artur Petrov , known on Instagram as @archykite . His energy and love of Big Air have led him to some of the best spots in the world.
@archykite: High flights and a traveling spirit
At 39 years old , Artur has been kitesurfing for 10 years and has turned his passion into a constant journey to iconic spots. He divides his time between Punta Trettu, Sardinia (Italy) , the Canary Islands (Tenerife, Spain) , and Egypt , always seeking the best conditions to fly high.
His style is a statement of intent: "go as big as you can." This, of course, makes him a Big Air enthusiast, the discipline where he seeks maximum elevation and hang time. He's also exploring strapless freestyle , which adds a technical and creative dimension to his riding.

For his impressive jumps and versatility in the water, Artur relies on equipment that provides him with the necessary power and control:
