Turienzo and Stragiotti Conquer the Formula Kite Youth World! 🌍

Hello, kiteboarding enthusiasts! 🌊🪁 Today in SUELTALABARRA, the recent Formula Kite Junior World Championship.

The Formula Kite Junior World Championship has come to an end, and it has left us with some unforgettable moments. Catalina Turienzo of Argentina and Gian Andrea Stragiotti of Switzerland have been crowned the new world champions, proving that the future of kiteboarding is in good hands. 🏆
From the start of the competition, both champions led resolutely, but in Formula Kite, nothing is decided until the final day. The championship format requires that the first to score three wins in the four-rider final takes the title, adding extra excitement and strategy to each race. 🏄‍♂️🏄‍♀️

The women's final: Argentine dominance 🇦🇷

Catalina Turienzo, the young Argentinian talent, reached the final with two points, while the defending champion, Lysa Caval of France, had one. Turkey's Derin Atakan and Poland's Magdalena Woyciechowska completed the final four after impressive semifinal performances.
In the final, Turienzo left no room for competition. He led the only race he needed from start to finish, convincingly sealing his victory and sparking joy among the Argentinian fans on the beach. 🎉

The men's final: A hotly contested title 🇨🇭

In the men's final, Gian Andrea Stragiotti of Switzerland and Lucas Fonseca of Brazil faced Jan Voester of Germany and Vojtech Koska of the Czech Republic. Voester won the first two races, tying Stragiotti on points.
In the third race, Voester crashed, leaving Fonseca in the lead. However, Stragiotti managed to overtake him and cross the finish line first. Although Fonseca protested the incident, it was dismissed, confirming Stragiotti's victory and giving him his first major title in the Formula Kite class.
