Nia Suardíaz: The Wingfoil Queen Conquers Tarifa Again 🏄‍♀️👑

Hello, wingfoil fans! 🪁🏄‍♂️
Do you dream of soaring over the water like the champions? And you know it!
Nia Suardíaz, the prodigious wingfoil world champion, has once again made her mark on the waters of Valdevaqueros. At just 17 years old, this Tarifa native has proven that talent knows no bounds, and her recent victory at the Tarifa Wing Pro is living proof of that. Read on to discover how this young star has once again shone in her homeland!
On a weekend where the sun and wind accompanied the riders and the public in attendance, Nia Suardíaz was crowned in the Tarifa Wing Pro. 🌞🌟 With the wind blowing in her favor, Nia performed spins that left the crowd speechless. 😲💨 "The wind was light in the morning, but it changed to a good westerly in the afternoon and it was perfect to finish all my spins at the end," said the champion with a smile that reflected her indomitable spirit.
Not only Nia, but also Chris MacDonald, the 18-year-old American phenomenon, proved his worth by linking his second consecutive victory this year. 🏅 Behind these two wingfoil titans, competitors of the caliber of Bowien van der Linden, Mar de Arce, Sofia Marchetti, Axel Gerard, Bastien Escofet and Xavi Corr fought to the maximum, showing that the sport is more alive than ever and leaving the level very high from Chiclana in the first event so far with Tarifa that I tell you about here. 🌍🔥
McDonald after winning for the second time in Tarifa @chris.mcdddd — “We had great conditions here in Tarifa. I'm stocked we had such great wind for the final. The sport is evolving so fast.” He's very happy sailing in Tarifa.
It has been a true rollercoaster of emotions this week at the GWA Wingfoil World Cup Tarifa.
