Hey there, SUELTALABARRA family! 💨 If you thought kitesurfing had already given it all, grab your kites because the GKA Big Air Kite World Cup France 2025, the legendary "Lord of Tram", has been a real blast and out of the box! 🤯 And also, with a very special touch for us: The energy and talent of Colombian rider Beto Gómez!
Port-Barcarès, in beautiful France, became the world epicenter of Big Air, bringing together the best jumpers on the planet. And if you were paying attention on YouTube, you knew the finals were going to be breathtaking. And they didn't disappoint! For Sueltalabarra.com, the highlight is always the mistakes, and with these wind conditions, mistakes are dangerous. Here's the official GKA video on their YouTube channel.
In the women's category, we saw @mikaili_sol, @alice_ruggiu, @cescamaini, and @sarahsadek1996 giving it their all on every jump. True Amazons of the air! 🚀 Finally, the crown of queen of the "Lord of Tram" went to the spectacular Mikaili Sol 🥇. A machine! Francesca Maini 🥈 took silver with her unmistakable style, and Sarah Sadek 🥉 completed the podium. Alice Ruggiu fought until the end, finishing in a creditable fourth place 🏅. Congratulations to everyone for this aerial festival! 👏

But the excitement didn't end there, because the men's final was a true duel of titans between @andrea_principi04, @lorenzo__casati, and @stinokiteboarding. The jumps were increasingly stratospheric, the tricks more technical... pure magic in the air! ✨ Italy's Andrea Principi took the title of "Lord of Tram" 🥇, demonstrating his dominance in Big Air. The very young Lorenzo Casati 🥈 showed his potential with an impressive silver medal, and Leonardo Casati 🥉 took the bronze. Stino Mulder 🏅, another of the greats, just missed the podium. What a level! 🔥

As always, I like to highlight the participants, our charismatic Beto Gómez! 😮💨 deserves this article, what can I say about Beto Gómez... what energy this man transmits! 💪 Just as he told us in his Instagram stories, he was super motivated to give it his all in the water. "Ready to send the bro and to put on a show out there!" he said with his contagious enthusiasm. And boy did he do it, representing Colombia with pride and leaving his mark wherever he went!
I edit and share it on our YouTube channel so you don't miss it🎬
And although the conditions were extreme, with winds reaching over 65 knots (absolutely insane! 🌪️), Beto demonstrated his incredible control and passion for kiting. As one of the commentators said, "Beto has one of the best kite controls in the whole scene." And it showed! Even though the competition didn't end as he expected, his positive attitude and gratitude for being back competing and sharing with other riders was exemplary. "I'm super happy and grateful to be back competing," Beto told us. "This is the first competition of the year, so I think it's a good performance on and off the water." That's the spirit, Beto! 💯
