This edition, which has marked a milestone in international nautical sport, has crowned the new queen of the world of Wingfoil Freestyle .

The Duel for the World Crown

With the cancellation of the race in Brazil, the 2025 Gran Canaria GWA Wingfoil World Cup became the final event to declare the world champion. The pressure was on two Spanish riders : Nía Suardíaz , the current champion and world leader, and Mar de Arce , her main rival and number two in the standings. The duel between these two talented riders from Tarifa kept everyone on edge until the very last moment.
