Cold Hawaii! Jeremy Burlando conquista el Red Bull King of The Air Qualifier 2025

Cold Hawaii! Jeremy Burlando wins the Red Bull King of The Air Qualifier 2025

We're continuing with plenty of Big Air this week. Hold on tight to the bar, family, because what we experienced in Cold Hawaii, Denmark , is one to share. The 2025 Red Bull King of the Air Qualifier , held in the fishing village of Novaport, Denmark, was a true epic. The brutal North Sea winds and wild waves turned this championship into a legendary battle where only the bravest and most technically savvy managed to tame the storm.

SUELTALABARRA Family! The conditions were out of this world: gusts reaching 45 knots, monstrous waves, and a horizontal downpour that made even the cameras suffer. The organizers had to move the judges' tower through the waves, and the camera crews worked to their limits. This wasn't a competition, it was survival in the windy hell!

Recap of @coldhawaiigames stories

The riders, true gladiators, faced an unprecedented challenge. The judges were looking not only for height, but also for extremes, technicality, and variety in each trick, with aggressively looped kites that generated tremendous power. Every jump was a risk, every landing a victory.

We saw legends like Lorenzo Casati , who had just won the Megaloop, defend his Qualifier title. His duel against the Heel was one of the most talked-about moments, a battle of styles where Lorenzo won by overall impression despite the Heel's incredible technique. The North Sea didn't make it easy for anyone!

Riders like Jamie Overbeek , known for his smooth landings, and Cohen Van Dijk , fresh from a podium finish at the Megaloop, also demonstrated their expertise. Charles Broaddell blew us away by daring to compete on a hydrofoil in these extreme conditions, a display of daring that no one will forget.

But the story of this Cold Hawaii was written by a rider who, after overcoming a serious injury and with boundless ambition, made history.
