The first stage of the 2025 Brazilian Wing Foil Race Championship concludes successfully in Ceará
SUELTALABARRA family! From the vibrant shores of Brazil comes exciting news: the first leg of the 2025 Brazilian Wing Foil Race Championship has concluded with great success. The event took place within the framework of last weekend's GKC Velas Trairi Festival, which in its fourth edition has established itself as a benchmark in sailing sports and in the promotion of sustainable tourism in the region.
Intense regattas on the coast of Ceará
The coast of the state of Ceará was the chosen setting for this official season opening. Although the first day saw light winds, allowing only one race to be held, the following days offered excellent conditions that fostered an intense racing pace. A total of eight races were held, with the lowest-performing race being eliminated in accordance with the sport's technical regulations, thus ensuring a fair and exciting qualifying session.
The champions of the first stage
The Wing Foil Race competition crowned the riders who demonstrated the greatest consistency and skill in the challenging Brazilian conditions.
In the General (Overall) category, the podium was made up of:
🥇 1st Kauli Seadi – 7 points
🥈 2nd Daniel Nogueira – 16 points
🥉 3rd Carlos Araújo Junior – 21 points
🏅 4th Francisco Erick Sousa dos Santos – 37 points
🏅 5th Benjamin Almeida – 48 points
In the Women's category, the following stood out with their exceptional performance:
🏆 Rocio Regret – 55 points
🥈 Lidiane Sanders – 58 points
🥉 Anita Amaro – 112 points
