Imagine an event that brings together the best in kiteboarding in a breathtaking setting. Well, get ready for the second edition of the Nayarit Wind Festival, the largest kiteboarding gathering in the Americas with a record number of participants.
The Nayarit Wind Festival is considered the most important kiteboarding event in Latin America. Its 2024 edition will bring together contestants of various nationalities who will give their all in the Downwind, Long Distance, Big Air, Foil Regatta, Slalom, and Freestyle categories. The best part is that I've been checking the registrations and you can sign up for any modality with any discipline: twintip, kitefoil, and wingfoil.
Bucerías is the town on the Pacific coast of the state of Nayarit that will become the epicenter of kiteboarding. The relaxed atmosphere, beautiful beaches, rich culture, and warm locals are the key elements that will come together to offer a memorable weekend.
This year's Nayarit Wind Festival marks the next edition of Mexico's International Kiteboarding Championship, which will take place during the festival. With more than 300 competitors from around the world, the competition has proven to be a visual spectacle that will delight spectators.
In addition to the exciting kiteboarding competition, the festival will also offer a variety of activities for all tastes. From dinghy sailing competitions to surfing and paddleboarding lessons, and of course, beach parties.
