Oh my goodness, @sueltaelwing family, what a crazy weekend we've had! The Ibiza Wingfoil Open , which was also the Spanish Wingfoil Cup , was a truly epic battle in the waters off Sant Antoni de Portmany. And if there's one thing that's clear, it's that the Canary Islands are the birthplace of champions. A crushing dominance that left us speechless!
SUELTALABARRA family! What happened at this event, which brought together 53 sailors, is proof of the brutal level of competition we have in Spain. With 12 qualifying events and five finals in the different divisions, the riders gave it their all in a race competition that combined slalom races with challenging upwind races.

Our rider, Alberto Citzia, made it clear in his Instagram post:
"It's not the goal I came here for, but I'm happy to have participated in the first upwind/downwind regatta in a Spanish event since I started competing. I'm also pleased to see the top five spots filled by Canarian athletes, confirming the archipelago as the best place in Spain to train in our sport."
His words perfectly sum up the atmosphere and strength of the Canary Islands fleet, which, from start to finish, demonstrated unparalleled power.
