Kitesurfing at its best! Maeder and Kampman dominate the Kitefoil World Series in Austria 🇦🇹

The Kitefoil World Series in Austria delivered a thrilling finish. Light wind conditions put the riders to the test, but that didn't stop Max Maeder and Jessie Kampman from taking victory in their respective categories.

Max Maeder once again demonstrated why he is the world's number 1. The young Singaporean rider dominated the men's competition, demonstrating absolute dominance in the races.

For French world kitesurfing champion Jessie Kampman, victory wasn't so easy. She had to fight until the very end, but she finally managed to secure her first Kitefoil World Series title .

A new feature of this year's event was the "Golden Ticket." This repechage race gave Jan Koszowski the chance to break into the top 10 and fight for the podium. A great initiative to keep the excitement going until the very end!

New equipment, new challenges 🪁 Maeder and other riders took advantage of the event to try out the latest generation of equipment: a 21-square-meter Flysurfer V3 kite and the Levitaz R6 foil and mast combination. This new equipment appears to offer greater efficiency and versatility.

The Olympics leave their mark 🇫🇷 Valentin Bontus, the newly crowned Paris 2024 Olympic champion, is still adjusting to his new equipment and his recent fame. However, his talent is undeniable, and we'll surely see him fighting for the top spots again soon.

The Kitefoil World Series continues to grow by leaps and bounds. With a high level of competition, constant innovation, and increasingly young and talented riders, this sport promises an exciting future.
