Historic in Tarifa! The Spanish Kiteboarding and Wingfoil Championship explodes with a unique format.
What a historic weekend we had in the windy capital!
Tarifa has once again been the scene of an epic battle, this time with the Spanish and Andalusian Kiteboarding Championship and the Spanish Wingfoil Cup . But pay attention, because this edition marked a turning point: it was the first time that the Spanish Kiteboarding League (SKL) joined forces with the Spanish Wingfoil League (SWL) in the same event! A resounding success that proves that unity is strength and that our sport continues to evolve.
SUELTALABARRA family! These types of events are what fill our hearts, watching our riders fly, land impossible tricks, and give it their all in the water. And if it's held in Tarifa, with that atmosphere you only find here, things are on another level. Get ready, because this was a celebration of the wind and a brutal demonstration of what kiters and wingfoilers can achieve together!
The championship, held at the iconic Valdevaqueros spot, witnessed the mastery of our athletes, with breathtaking heats where every inch and every streak counted. The conditions were ideal, giving us a final that will be remembered forever.
The strapless final was out of this world!
If there was one moment that made our hair stand on end, it was the strapless kitesurfing final. INCREDIBLE is an understatement! These guys put on a true spectacle, proving that the art of dancing on the waves without any strings attached is at its peak. Names like Noah Nicolas, Keanu Merten, Domi Moreno, and Santiago Kite demonstrated creativity and control that left us speechless. Congratulations to all four of them for that exhibition!
After a weekend filled with battles, incredible flights, and gravity-defying maneuvers, here are the names of the riders who climbed to the top of the podium, demonstrating a level that rivals the international circuit just a week ago. What can we say about the champion in Women's Freestyle, Claudia León Kitesurf Claudia is an inspiration for all riders, demonstrating elegance and power in every trick. Her career is a testament to her dedication and talent, always at the top of her game. A true role model for our community!
