Carew returns with a bang and takes the kitesurfing title on Sylt!

The GKA Kite-Surf World Cup Sylt 2024 hasn't ceased to amaze us with its Instagram videos! In an exciting day of competition, Australian James Carew proved he remains a force to be reckoned with in the kitesurfing world.

Carew, known for his aggressive style and aerial maneuverability, staged a true comeback. In the quarterfinals, he faced favorite Matchu Lopes in a duel filled with intensity and acrobatics. Despite the difficult conditions, Carew prevailed with an impressive performance.

Surprises in the semifinals. The semifinals also offered unforgettable moments. Airton Cozzolino, one of the favorites, was eliminated by Nicola Abadjiev in one of the tournament's upsets. Meanwhile, in the women's category, Capucine Delannoy advanced to the final after defeating Kesiane Rodrigues.

Is this the end of Matchu Lopes and Airton Cozzolino's kitesurfing career, the discipline they've always dominated? Well, I don't think so. These riders are consistent in training and always have a new trick. We're sure to see them at the top sooner rather than later.

The most exciting final

The final between Carew and Gabriel Benetton was a true spectacle. Both riders gave their all, exchanging tricks and maneuvers with astonishing precision. In the end, Carew narrowly prevailed, taking the title of GKA Kite-Surf World Cup Sylt 2024 champion .

And the winning queen of Sylt is Capucine Delannoy @capucine_delannoy after landing the front roll with some surfkite turns that I can't describe, to score a perfect ten and be crowned champion of the Defender GKA Kite-Surf World Cup Sylt.

Brodel flies high on hydrofoil and takes the double title on Sylt!

🪁 The GKA Hydrofoil Big Air World Cup Sylt 2024 has left us speechless. Our friend Charles Brodel took the cake, winning both the world and European hydrofoil titles! 🇫🇷

The German island of Sylt provided the perfect backdrop for this aerial battle. With strong winds and top-level riders, the excitement was guaranteed from the first minute. Brodel demonstrated impeccable technique and brutal power, leaving his rivals with no chance.

The final was a true spectacle. Brodel and Lorenzo Casati faced off in an epic duel, displaying mind-blowing tricks that left us breathless. But it was the Frenchman who took the victory, thanks to his consistency and a series of maneuvers that left the audience speechless.

The rest of the riders weren't far behind either. Peer Schnyder and Joselito del Rosario completed the podium, proving that the level of this sport is sky-high.
