The DR Open Kiteboarding shines in Cabarete with a resounding success

SUELTALABARRA Family! Cabarete, Dominican Republic, has once again become the epicenter of international kitesurfing with the successful DR Open Kiteboarding competition. The competition brought together 15 of the world's best riders, who put on a breathtaking show on the waves off the Cabarete coast.
The event took place at the renowned Millennium Resort & Spa, an ideal setting for this international event that reaffirms Cabarete's position as a key destination for water sports.
This successful tournament was made possible thanks to the collaborative efforts of young athlete and organizer Raúl Corniel and visionary entrepreneur George Coutu, whose dedication and commitment made this event an unforgettable experience. The DR Open Kiteboarding stood out not only for its competitive level but also for its impact on sports tourism and the boost it represents for the local community.

The women's performances at the DRO Open were impressive. The results were as follows:

The youth category also shone brightly, demonstrating the promising future of kitesurfing. The results were as follows:
