Cutty Sark On Tour: The documentary that will make you fly with a kite

Would you like to experience an incredible adventure along the Portuguese coast in search of the best kite spots? Would you like to meet the key figures of the national kitesurfing scene and their future plans? Would you like to see what kitesurfing is like in a caravan loaded with gear, sand, and salt water? If so, then don't miss today's documentary: Cutty Sark On Tour. 🚐🌊🪁
The Cutty Sark On Tour is the result of a mission set by the Portuguese Kiteboarding Class Association (APCKite), which consisted of reaching out to kitesurfing schools across the country, introducing the Association's new team, its vision, and its future plans, and, above all, listening to feedback from those who work on the beach and shape the future of national kitesurfing every day. They also wanted to open a direct line of communication with all lovers of the sport. 🤝
To do so, they embarked on a 15-day road trip in a caravan, from Viana do Castelo to Tavira, passing through Esposende, Murtosa, Lagoa de Óbidos, Alcochete, Costa da Caparica, Lagoa de Albufeira, Vila Nova de Mil Fontes, Sagres, Lagos, Alvor, and Fuseta. At each stop, they met with local schools, showed them the APCKite project, and shared experiences, tips, and laughs. They also took the opportunity to enjoy the conditions at each spot, from the strong wind and flat water in Viana, to the waves and landscape of Sagres, passing through the Albufeira lagoon and the Alcochete river. 🏄‍♂️
The documentary is directed by Manel Pessanha, who is also a member of the APCKite board, and features Miguel Rodes, president of the Association and a kitesurfer for 10 years, and Tomás Magalhães, a member of the Association. It also features the collaboration of Cutty Sark, which supported the initiative and celebrated its 100th anniversary. 🎥
Cutty Sark On Tour is a documentary that will make you feel the passion for kitesurfing, adventure, and friendship. It will show you Portugal's potential as a kitesurfing destination and inspire you to continue learning and improving in this sport. Don't miss it, and if you like it, share it with your friends. And remember: drop the bar and fly with the kite. 🚀
