🌊🏄‍♂️ A huge success at the Tarifa Spanish Kiteboarding Championship sponsored by the Provincial Council! 🏄‍♀️🌊

Hey kiteboarding enthusiasts? Here's some exciting news from the latest championship in Tarifa! 🥳

Tarifa became the epicenter of kiteboarding this weekend, not only because of its incredible wind, but also because of the spectacular Spanish Kiteboarding Championship. This was made possible thanks to the incredible sponsorship of the Provincial Council of Cádiz! 🌟

More than 40 intrepid athletes gathered in Tumbao-Valdevaqueros to compete in two exciting disciplines: Freestyle and Strapless. There was even a new Master35 category for the more experienced! 💪💨

The east wind was the star of this competition, and everyone had to coordinate and push themselves to the limit on the first day, as the forecast for the weekend wasn't the best. But kiteboarders are brave and don't give up easily! 🌬️

On Sunday, the older riders finally enjoyed a gentle easterly wind that allowed them to compete in their categories and disciplines. And on Friday, with stronger winds, the senior riders put on a show that could rival a World Cup. What a way to start the event! 🏆🤩

In the Freestyle category, world champions Liam Whaley and Álex Pastor faced off in a thrilling final. Whaley was crowned Spanish Freestyle Champion for the second time in the Spain Kiteboarding League, proving he's still in excellent form, even though he's now focusing on Big Air! 🤙🤯

In Women's Freestyle, the competition was varied, with professionals like Alexandra Torres and Claudia León competing against promising young talents. The current world number 2, Claudia León, took the victory in style! 👑🌟

The Strapless discipline also offered an exciting show, with Keanu Merten and Noah Nicolas in the same final as the Junior World Cup. This time, Keanu Merten was crowned Spanish Strapless Champion! 🤘🌊
