The 3rd edition of XP SERTÕES KITESURF took place between September 11th and 16th . The world's largest kitesurfing rally arrived full of new challenges for 2023, and the Sertões family prospered and grew.
'THE SERTÃOS have become the sea, once again!'
With a breathtaking view, the Land of Light Wind welcomed all competitors to this test of collective and personal achievement. The course followed the entire coast of Ceará , starting at Praia do Cumbuco in Caucaia, and finishing the final stretch at Praia das Imburanas in Camocim.
The 2023 XP SERTÕES KITESURF categories were: PRO and ELITE with a total of 460 km ; and ADVENTURE , MASTER , GRAN MASTER , PRO JUNIOR with 280 km and WINGFOIL with 220 km covered. In this edition, all the riders of different categories faced upwind and close-hauled sections .
There were more than 80 athletes in the water, from 9 Brazilian states and 7 different countries , for an amazing competition that challenges collective, personal, physical and mental limits.
The show was guaranteed and showed the strength and vibe of the Kite & Wing community!
