For José Luis, this was an unforgettable experience. "I never imagined being at an event of this level," he excitedly confessed. Despite not reaching the podium this time, his participation was a major step in his career and a testament to his potential. It's worth continuing to read his comments on social media:

Brazilian rider @jluis123jef: My first official international competition of my career! I only have words of gratitude for everyone who has supported me. It's an honor to represent Brazil, and this competition is a dream come true, full of emotions. I'm very excited for the second day of competition.

Hello everyone! I'm very happy. I'm finally home after competing in the GKA competition. It was my first international competition, and I'm very happy to have achieved this goal. I know I could have had better timing and didn't land a good trick in my first run, but the second run was much better, although it wasn't enough.

I want to especially thank Vânia and Kitesurf Connect for helping me get here. And I also want to tell you that I was the only Brazilian GKA athlete without any brand sponsorship or support. Despite that, I made it, and I want this to serve as an example to all those who don't yet have the support of a brand, but believe that one day they will. My friend, keep believing and keep dreaming, because my dreams came true.

Alice Ruggiu experienced a roller coaster of emotions in Jericoacoara. Her second place finish was the result of months of hard training and dedication. "This podium finish is a dream come true," she said excitedly. With this experience, Alice has cemented herself as one of the leading figures in women's kitesurfing and has high expectations for the future.
One of the highlights of the competition was Mikaili Sol's "kiteloop frontroll boardoff," which earned her a perfect 10. This maneuver, combined with great power and precision, demonstrated why she is considered one of the best kitesurfers in the world.
After her thrilling victory, Mikaili Sol shared on social media: "This is the best day of my life. Thank you all for your support!" Her message reflects the excitement and gratitude of an athlete who has reached the pinnacle of her sport.
The GKA Big Air Kite World Cup was not only a major sporting event, but also an opportunity to boost tourism in Jericoacoara. The town was filled with visitors from around the world, who enjoyed the beaches, the cuisine, and the festive atmosphere.
With each edition of the GKA Big Air Kite World Cup, this sport consolidates its position as one of the most exciting and spectacular disciplines in the world. Well, yes, there's Red Bull, but that's for another time.
