The Gran Canaria beach of Las Burras enjoyed the Big Air (high jump) category finals in style, especially with the spectacular performance of Tarifa-born Noah Nicolas and Majorera-born Zoe Sosa, who were crowned kings of the air at the Gran Canaria Air Battle. In its fifth edition, the largest kitesurfing and wingfoiling festival hosts the disciplines of Kitesurf Big Air and Strapless Freestyle in the Open and regional categories. So, although Nicolas took the Open category title home to Tarifa, it was Majorera Ancor Sosa who was crowned Canary Islands champion in both.
