However, the competition was fierce. The talented Liam Whaley (@liamwhaley) took second place, proving once again why he's one of the most recognized names in the kitesurfing world. Andrea: Hi everyone, I'm Andrea, and today has been amazing. We're here after the Megaloop Challenge, and we want to tell you a story that's almost the same. So we grew up watching each other. One day, I was at the beach watching a guy doing Megaloop, and I thought, "I don't want to do this." But I said, "Give me a year," and I started competing and all that. I was dreaming about this, and my dream came true, guys!
Cohan Vandijk: It seems like it's almost the same thing that happened to me. When I was young and I saw the kids doing Megaloop, I knew that's what I wanted to do. I saw a lot of crashes on the beach and thought, "Yeah, I told my dad this is what I want to do." And now we're on the podium. Yeah, yeah, it's incredible! The conditions today were 45 knots of wind, our backs are destroyed, but we're still alive.
