Share
Hold on to the bar, SLB family, because what's happened in La Loteta isn't a dream, it's an epic declaration! The land of the cierzo wind , even without a sea, has crowned itself another world capital of kitesurfing by announcing that Aragon will host one of the events of the GKA Global Kiteboarding Association Junior World Championships next year !
SUELTALABARRA family! We not only celebrated our most amazing young riders with a spectacular tribute, but we also managed to get the world's elite to take notice of the versatility and power of the Aragonese wind, the Cierzo. This is the boost we need to ensure our reservoir continues to be a source of pride and an example for everyone, because I know we have a paradise, but for them to come and see it for themselves will be the icing on the cake.

Cristina García Torres, Director General of Sports of Aragon
Aragonese youth development is making a strong impact on the world stage!
The event held on the beaches of Luceni, on the La Loteta reservoir, paid tribute to the three riders who have rewritten the history of our sport, proving they are made of sterner stuff in their first participation in the Tarifa World Championships. Here are the kings of the wind who have put us on the map!
