From a very early age, Javier showed an interest in water sports. At 3 years old, he was already riding his first surfboard on La Canaleta beach, and at 7, despite his short stature, he began kitesurfing under the watchful eye of his father, who always supported his dream. Training with renowned riders such as Rafael Castillo and Rubén Cano on Isla Canela beach, his rapid progress was astonishing, promising a promising future in this sport.
Although her first exposure was to surfing and paddleboarding, it was kitesurfing that captured her heart. At age 9, she ventured into strapless surfing, which requires innate skill and great control on the board, a choice that has proven to be a good one.
