The great @juvenilkitecumbuco_ project has amply demonstrated this. Celebrating its 15th anniversary at the championship final was the perfect way to pay tribute to all its work and the countless families it has helped.

SUELTALABARRA family! This celebration was the icing on the cake of an epic event, and the final party at @sabordapraiacumbuco was the perfect place to commemorate so many years of effort. Imagine the atmosphere: friends, family, athletes, and the best flavors of the region in a place with a perfect breeze! An event where camaraderie was felt in every corner.
The championship was a battle of budding titans, where the new generation of riders displayed talent that left us speechless. They competed with heart and a will to fly, and every maneuver was a reflection of the bright future of our sport.

Douglas Lopes with his board @ inverterkitesurf
The world of competition isn't always perfect, and rider Douglas Lopes (@douglaslopeskite) gave us a lesson in maturity and strength. At just 13 years old, he shared his experience at the championship. Despite the organizers awarding him 4th place in the Open category, he knows he performed very well and has a bright future ahead of him.
“We had three days of events, where I was able to reconnect with great friends and make new ones as well. Every event is full of incredible and exciting experiences. But it also has its mistakes, like any organization, and this year, unfortunately, the mistake was on the judges' bench, where they didn't properly judge the athletes' maneuvers. I did my part as an athlete, I gave my best, I was ready for a good placement, and everyone at the event knew I had a good placement, but the organizers thought otherwise. All is well. I'm 13 years old and have many championships to participate in, many victories to conquer. I will continue forward, holding my head high and knowing that I did a good job. I was awarded 4th place in the OPEN (professional) category. I'm grateful to have God always by my side.”
Douglas's words are a reminder that despite the frustration, his indomitable spirit and his conviction that he gave his all are the true victory. This is what unites us as a community: not just triumphs, but resilience and camaraderie.
Thanks to @alpha_gestao_estrategista for capturing the magic of the final celebration! And a huge hug to all the riders participating, regardless of the outcome. This is just the beginning! And remember, the best rider is the one who has the most fun!
