Lorenzo Casati: The king of kitesurfing conquers Cold Hawaii!
We have a new king in Cold Hawaii! The talented Italian kitesurfer, Lorenzo Casati, who finished first in 2022, second in 2023 at the Red Bull King of the Air, making history, and this 2024 on his way to another great year, has taken victory in the prestigious Red Bull Qualifier this weekend, leaving behind strong competition and fulfilling another of his dreams.
For Lorenzo, this victory holds special significance. Cold Hawaii was the stage where his career began to take off, with two second-place finishes while still a teenager. Now, at 18, he's achieved what he'd longed for: to stand on the top step of the podium!
In his own words: "This competition is special because it's where my career truly began... I'm beyond happy to finally achieve this dream at 18!!"
Behind every great champion is a great team. Lorenzo wanted to thank everyone who contributed to his success, especially his brother Leonardo, who served as his caddy throughout the competition. He also expressed his gratitude to the organizers, the fans, and all his followers.
But if there's someone who deserves a special mention, it's his father, Renato Casati. Lorenzo emphasized the importance of the sacrifices they've made together and praised his father's innovative training systems, which have been key to his development as a kitesurfer. Will we ever see a film like the one made with the Williamses?
With this victory, Lorenzo Casati cements his position as one of the most promising athletes in world kitesurfing. His talent, dedication, and passion for the sport predict a future filled with success for him and for kitesurfing worldwide.

Congratulations, Lorenzo!
