Snowkite Fest Corralco 2024 was crazy!
From August 29th to September 1st, Corralco became a paradise for snowkiting enthusiasts. With more than 30 kites soaring through the skies at the same time, the eleventh edition of this event left everyone speechless.
Carmen Verdeyen and Giorgio Caiozzi, the Pan American Games representatives, demonstrated once again why they are the best. Both took first place in the racing and freestyle categories, demonstrating their dominance in snowkiting.
The excitement of the racing was a true battle. The riders launched themselves at full speed down the track, demonstrating great skill in controlling their sails and skis. Carmen Verdeyen stood out with an impeccable performance, taking first place in the women's category.

Freestyle was a spectacle in itself , as the riders delighted us with mind-blowing tricks. Front rolls, kiteloops, and countless maneuvers that defied the laws of gravity. Giorgio Caiozzi took first place in the men's category with an impressive technical prowess.

The future of snowkiting, young Nicolás Blaschke, son of legendary kitesurfer Ariel Blaschke, demonstrated that the future of snowkiting is secure. At just 12 years old, he placed third in the freestyle snowboard category.
An event for the whole family, the Snowkite Fest offered beginner clinics, where experts like Giorgio Caiozzi and Ariel Blaschke shared their knowledge with the younger ones.
